Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers
- Lead hiring of Engineering team on ongoing basis
- Make decisions of engineering design choices
- Set technical direction for the team
- Oversee the development of new features and products
- Ensure that the team meets deadlines and objectives
- Mentor and develop junior engineers
- Stay up to date on the latest technologies
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Drive the core development of the product from scratch
Key requirements
- Engineering from top tier institutes – IIT/NIT/BITS
- 8+ years of experience in engineering management
- Strong understanding of C#, AngularJS, and .Net, JAVA
- Experience with software companies (eg; IBM/ Wipro/ HCL) serving large enterprises
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
